The London Stained Glass Company is pleased to offer short courses with Judi Stark who is both an experienced glass artist and tutor.

INTRODUCTION TO GLASS FUSING FOR BEGINNERS - 4 days

This course is a comprehensive introduction to glass fusing & slumping.    The course is designed specifically to give students a fundamental understanding of glass fusing techniques.

The course covers both technical & creative aspects of glass fusing including:
glass selection
glass cutting
kiln preparation, programming and firing cycles  
tests & note-taking
different types of glass fusing
creating textures
slumping

Students will make their own fused glass samples and pieces throughout the course.  Students will also experience actual kiln firings of their work during the course.   All materials and tools are provided.

A light lunch is also provided.
