The London Stained Glass Company is pleased to offer short courses with Judi Stark at our studio in Camberwell, London SE5.  Judi is an established glass artist, designer and tutor with over 25 years experience.

INTRODUCTION TO GLASS FUSING FOR BEGINNERS - 4 days

This course is a comprehensive introduction to glass fusing & slumping for beginners. The course is designed specifically to give students a fundamental understanding of glass fusing techniques.
 
The course covers technical & creative aspects of glass fusing including:

-glass selection & compatibility
-glass cutting
-kiln preparation, programming and firing cycles  
-test firings & note-taking
-different types of glass fusing
-creating textures
-slumping

Students will make their own fused glass samples and pieces throughout the course.  Students will also be involved in actual kiln firings of their work during classes.   All materials and tools are provided.

A light lunch is also provided.

There is free parking all day at our studio in Vanguard Court & good public transport connections.

4 Day Course Total cost. £560.00 

Courses are held on Saturday & Sunday over two consecutive weekends.
